Our Philosophy

Paperman is built by DoublOne Studios with a privacy-first mindset. We believe your desktop is your private space. Our software is designed to run locally, without tracking your behavior or collecting your data.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data. Paperman does not require an account, does not ask for your email, and does not have a "phone home" mechanism.

• No Usage Tracking: We do not track which apps you exclude or which textures you use.
• No Telemetry: We do not collect crash reports or performance metrics automatically.
• No Analytics: There are no third-party analytics scripts in the application.

Local Configuration

All your settings — including your texture preferences, opacity levels, and app exclusion lists — are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your computer.

Updates

The application may check for updates by pinging our secure server to see if a newer version is available. This request does not include any identifying information about you or your system, other than your current version number.
